Hello fellow Pakistanis! It looks to me that you’re planning a trip to Istanbul. Well isn’t that just delightful!
The best service to yourself when travelling to a new place is to list down and build an elaborate itinerary for yourself of all the places you should and you wish to see while you’re there. Most of us have a limited time when on vacation to see an entire city, which makes it all the more necessary to be organized in advance to be as time-efficient and productive during our adventure as possible.
Here is a sample itinerary for a three day visit to Istanbul based on my highly recommended attractions in Istanbul that you can read more about here:
12:00 – 13:30 Hagia Sophia Take Tram to Sultanahmet station if required
Walk through the Sultanahmet Park towards the opposite site
13:45 – 14:30 Blue Mosque Walking distance from Hagia Sophia
14:45 – 15:30 Lunch at Sultanahmet Where and what to eat in a later post
15:45 – 16:30 Eminonu Neighborhood Take Tram T1 from Sulttanahmet to Sirkeci
Walk by the Eminonu Pier to enjoy Bosphorus and finally stroll across the Galata Bridge
17:30 – 18:30 Galata Neighborhood Explore the Galata Tower while there
18:45 – 21:00 Istiklaal Avenue Walking distance from Galata Neighborhood
Dine, shop and enjoy the nightlife here. Don’t forget to visit the historic Taksim Square while you’re there. Take Tram T1 from Taksim to Sultanahmet if required.
