Dubai is a city that most of us Pakistanis prefer to visit on a short trip since it’s so close to our home and getting holidays isn’t often quite easy. Unfortunately Dubai is not a sightseeing state but more of an experience based state. Therefore squeezing everything in three days isn’t going to be easy, but I’m going to try my best.
Unlike the usual travel itineraries where the assumption is that you will be staying in the city center, the itinerary assumes that you’re residing with your relatives or friends (since most of us happen to know SOMEONE in Dubai) which basically means you could be pretty much anywhere. For the sake of simplicity, I have kept travel times to each destination to be thirty minutes on average. You will have to adjust them with regards to your location accordingly.
Here’s the sample itinerary where preference has been given to those sights and experiences which I feel a Pakistani will enjoy the most:
11:00 – 14:30 Brunch & Beaching at The Walk, Jumeira Beach Residences
15:00 – 23:00 Evening Desert Safari with Dinner, Desert Ski, etc.
10:00 – 11:30 Breakfast at one of the cafe/restaurants
12:00 – 17:00 Shopping, Skiing and Lunch at Mall of Emirates
17:30 – 20:00 Dancing Fountains and Dinner at Dubai Mall
20:00 – 20:15 Pictures with Burj Khalifa Visible from Dubai Mall
20:15 – 20:45 Walk through the Souk al Bahar Walk from Dubai Mall
21:15 – 23:00 Dinner and Sheesha at Souk Madinat Jumeirah
23:30 – 01:00 Clubbing at Boudoir for some Desi Songs and Dancing
09:00 – 11:00 Burj-al Arab
12:00 – 17:00 Ferrari World/Aquaventure/Wild Wadi Water Park
17:30 – 19:00 Sightseeing and Dinner at Ibn-e-Batuta Mall
19:30 – 21:30 Meena Bazaar/Gold Souks for authentic gold jewellery or saaris, etc.
23:00 – 02:00 Clubbing at White Club for a kick ass EDM Dance Night
Details of these places and why they make it to the itinerary list will be provided soon in another post. Stay tuned.
